Listen to Obituary

With hearts full of both sadness and gratitude for a life so beautifully lived, we remember Jacqueline Lee Voge, who passed peacefully away on July 6, 2026, in Springboro. Born October 15, 1939, in Dayton, Jacqueline was a radiant presence whose impact will remain forever etched in the lives of those who knew her.

Throughout her 86 years, Jacqueline was the embodiment of joy and warmth—a woman whose happy nature and constant smiles brought light wherever she went. Known for her quick wit and humor, she was not only loving and caring to her family, but also to friends and all fortunate enough to cross her path.

Jacqueline’s hands were rarely still. Her creative spirit flourished as a dedicated floral designer, a career that allowed her to express her lifelong love for flowers. She found peace and happiness among blossoms and in her garden, tending to plants with patience and pride. Her devotion to beauty extended easily into her everyday world—she loved shopping adventures and gathering with the people she cherished.

Jacqueline's faith was a cornerstone of her life. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she now sits and walks with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Family was the cornerstone of Jacqueline’s world. She shared a rich life with her beloved husband of 57 years, Thomas Voge, Sr., now reunited with her in peace. Together, Jacqueline and Thomas built a home full of affection, laughter, and strong bonds.

She is survived by her devoted son Steve (Cathy) Voge and daughter Teresa (Jimmy) Collins. Jacqueline’s legacy continues through her grandchildren: Danielle (Adam) Lawson, Erin (DJ) Gillman, Melanie (Adam) Reid, David (Amy) Voge, Alice Collins, Susan Deaton, Melissa Deaton, and Maggie Collins. Her heart expanded even further with the arrival of a treasured new generation—her great-grandchildren Ava, Evan, Evelyn, Jaydon, Norah, Wyatt, Jack, Andi, Chris, Eli, Levi, Oliver, and Ethan. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Jacqueline's life was not untouched by loss. She now joins those who journeyed ahead: her loving husband Thomas Voge, Sr.; her son Thomas Voge, Jr.; her grandson Robert Thomas Deaton; her parents Charles and Della Maus; her brothers Richard and Robert Maus; and her sisters Betty Motsney, Wanda Troutwine, Helen Gear, Mary Stevens, and Joan Tresslar. The memory of these cherished relationships lives on in those who survive her.

Affectionately called a friend by many, Jacqueline’s caring nature reached beyond her immediate family. She was an enthusiastic member of the Gospel Training & Outreach Center (GTOC) community, giving generously of her time and compassion.

To all who remember Jacqueline, her legacy is one of kindness, laughter, love, and vibrant color—like the blossoms she so carefully arranged. Her spirit lives on in every smile, in every flower, and in the stories told around the family table.

A memorial service to celebrate Jacqueline Lee Voge’s extraordinary life will be held on July 18, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Gospel Training & Outreach Center, 31 N 1st St, Fairborn, OH 45324.
