Jacqueline Faye Trick, affectionately known as Jackie, left this world peacefully and went to be with her Lord on May 24, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio, surrounded by her loving family. Born on October 27, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, to the late Jack and Martha Cross, she dedicated her life to her family, faith, and service to others.
Jackie was a cherished retiree, having spent 22 wonderful years as a Medical Receptionist at Schuster Cardiology, where her warm demeanor and giving spirit left a lasting impression on all who crossed her path. Education was important to her; she graduated from Northridge High School in 1961 and later earned an Associate's Degree in Theology from Logos Bible College. Her faith was of utmost importance, as she devoted herself to spreading the Gospel and being a witness to others, embodying the principles she held dear.
She was a proud member of the Agape Family Worship Center in Beavercreek. Jackie's love for life was palpable, her infectious laughter easily filling a room, bringing joy to countless individuals. She adored singing and took great pleasure in reading, effortlessly finding joy in her free time and sharing it with those she cared about.
Jackie is survived by her loving children, Vonda (Donald) Harlow, Tammy (Don) Oliver, Robert (Robin) Stidham, Lori (Mike) Hutchinson, and Rebecca (Roger) Cantrell, as well as 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, with two more on the way. Her beloved sister, Emma Councilman, will surely miss her deeply, as will her numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Jackie is preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Kenneth Lloyd "Kenny" Stidham; her second husband, Tony Trick; her granddaughter, Kennedy Cantrell; and her brothers, Ronald E. Cross and Steven R. Cross. Each of them carries a piece of her legacy within their hearts.
Visitation will be held in her honor on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM, at the Agape Family Worship Center, located at 4111 Mapleview Drive, Beavercreek, OH 45432, followed by a Funeral Service commencing at 10:30 AM, officiated by Pastor Mark McVey. Burial will immediately follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Tipp City.
Though she has been called to her eternal home, Jackie’s light will continue to shine in the memories she created, the lives she touched, and the love she shared. Her family's love for her skyrockets far beyond mere words, and they find solace in knowing she has returned to be with her Lord. Jackie will forever be remembered as a beacon of hope, joy, and unconditional love.
To honor her memory, donations may be made to her home church, Agape Family Worship Center.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff of Hospice of Dayton for the care and support shown during Jackie’s time with them.
