Johannpeter, Jackie, age 91, of Huber Heights passed away April 5, 2016. He was born on September 12, 1924 in Granite City, IL to the late William and Gladys (McKinney) Johannpeter.
He is survived by his beloved wife Flora Johannpeter; daughter, Kathy Boyle and numerous extended family members.
Jackie dedicated over 20 years of his life in the United States Army. He was awarded the Purple Heart and many other medals of honor for his duties, while proudly serving our country.
A graveside service will be held at 2 PM on Friday, April 8, 2016 at Miami Memorial Park Cemetery, 7875 N. Crescent Rd. Covington, OH. A funeral procession will leave at 1 PM from Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. Dayton, OH 45424.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Alzheimer's Association, in Jackie's memory.
