Jackie Darlene Martin Fox

September 28, 1957 — August 18, 2026

Jackie Darlene Martin Fox, 68, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at Hospice of Dayton.

Jackie was born on September 28, 1957, to the late Raymond and Bell Martin. She was a lifelong Dayton resident and a longtime faithful member of Way of the Cross Church.

Jackie was known and loved by many. She had a beautiful spirit — she loved to socialize, sing with friends and family, and share her joy with everyone she met. She was a true music fan, and her love of music and laughter will be remembered by all who knew her.

Wherever Jackie went, so did her daughter Amanda. They shared a special mother-daughter bond and were extremely close, loving many of the same things and spending their days side-by-side.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond and Bell Martin, and her siblings, Cecil Martin, Danny Martin, and Nadine Rogers.

Jackie is survived by her beloved husband, John Fox; her daughter, Amanda Grace Fox; her nephew, David Martin; her four nieces, Christine Ward, Tonya Welch, Danielle Martin, and Denise Larrick and her husband James; along with many great and great-great nieces and nephews, and a host of other family and friends who loved her dearly. She held a special love for her best friend, Wilma Eyler-Hobson.

The family hopes those who would like to honor her will find a quiet time to remember who she was in your life and be thankful for the time you had together. In lieu of a public funeral service, individual families are encouraged to donate to Hospice of Dayton.
