Stout, Jack Everett age 85, of Beavercreek, Ohio passed away in the arms of his wife with his children beside him on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. He was born in Ashland, Ohio on April 5, 1935 to the late Loyal and Marie Stout (nee Sly).

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert (Kim) Stout, William Stout; sisters, Eleanor (Bill) Waites and Christine Wolfe.

Jack is survived by his beloved wife of 45 wonderful years, Karen Stout (nee Watson); children, Chad Stout, Kelly (Steve) Graham, Joel (Mary) Stout and Jeff Stout; grandchildren, Owen, Aaron, Hailey, Dylan, and Jennifer; sister-in-laws, Mary Stout and Patty Terry; brother-in-law, Robert Wolfe; and a host of other family members and friends.

Jack had a brilliant mind, he graduated from Zanesville High School in 1953 and from The Ohio State University with a BSEE in Electrical Engineering in 1958. He worked at Wright Patterson AFB for 30 years retiring in 1988. After retiring he became a contractor for Softech, Veridian, General Dynamics and VEDA. In 2012 he officially retired and started enjoying his life and family. Jack LOVED The Ohio State Buckeyes and was blessed to have season tickets to all football games during his retired years. He was a HUGE fan, a loyal alumni and wore scarlet and grey daily.

Above all, Jack was a loyal and loving husband and father. He was an amazing husband, father, uncle, friend, and his entire life exemplified honesty, truth and integrity. He instilled all those attributes in all his children. He will be sorely missed by all that knew and loved him.

Jack was a simple, methodical man, walking 2 to 3 miles every single day of his life in rain, shine, sleet or snow. Working his daily SUDUKO puzzles each morning. He valued nothing material, his treasures were his family and friends. He adored his children and they him. His delight in his last years were his four grandchildren. The smile they brought to his face was priceless. He adored them and they him.

Jack enjoyed coin collecting, playing bridge, chess, walking, traveling and life. He was always positive and took everything in his stride. He was a consummate gentleman, a confidant and a mentor to all who knew him.
