Jack L. Rosati

Jack L. Rosati, born January 28, 1943, in Dayton, passed away on August 25, 2026.

Jack lived a full and devoted life marked by faith, family, service, and steady professional accomplishment. He graduated from Patterson High School and went on to earn his bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University, a school he remained proud of throughout his life as a lifelong Buckeye fan. He also served his country in both the Army reserves and Air Force reserves.

For more than 40 years, Jack worked as a sales engineer in the heating and air conditioning industry, with Carrier being the company he was associated with longest. He was deeply involved in his profession, including 30 years of membership in ASHRAE, where he also served as president. In his church life, he was a faithful member of St. Henry Catholic Church and served on its finance committee for 25 years.

Beyond his work and service, Jack was a proud and devoted father and grandfather who coached his children’s sports teams and took great joy in their lives. He was an athlete himself and enjoyed playing racquetball, pickleball, softball, and basketball. He also shared a love of travel with his wife, Geraldiine, and together they saw much of the world, including Australia, Italy, Greece, Turkey, the Caribbean, and even Russia during the Iron Curtain.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Geraldiine; his sons, Christopher M. Rosati and his wife, Angela, of Cleveland, Ohio, and John J. Rosati and his wife, Jaqueline, of Asheville, North Carolina; and his grandchildren, Madison Rosati, Gianna Rosati, Genevieve Rosati, Dominic Rosati, and Jack Rosati. He is also survived by his brother, Pete Rosati and sisters-in-law, Karen Rosati, Jody Mullen, and Gay Volz.

He was preceded in death by his son, Mark Rosati; his grandchild, Rocco Rosati; his mother and father, Anna and Pete Rosati; and his brother, Luke Rosati.

Jack will be remembered for his dedication, his warmth, his competitive spirit, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.
