Jack Gentis

GENTIS, Jack E., 61, of Riverside passed away Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at his home. He is survived by his wife, Katherine Gentis; sons Jasen (Traci), Gregory, Daniel (Carla), and John Gentis; step daughter Christina Roadruck; grandchildren Heidi, Dale, Gabriel, Rowan, and Decklan; and brother Francis "Frank" (Mary) Gentis. Jack was a medic in the U.S. Navy with service in Vietnam where he received a purple heart. He went on to further his education and became a Registered Nurse followed by being a truck driver. Jack was an active member of the East Dayton Baptist Church. Viewing only will be held from 5:00-7:00PM Tuesday, June 7, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd.
