J. C. Bonham, age 82, passed away Nov. 1, 2017 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born in Lancing, Tennessee on May 17, 1935.
Chief Warrant Officer Bonham served 20 years in the Navy. He finished his education with an Associate's Degree in Business. He also worked at Emery Freight and Dayton Casting Co.
He was a very devoted husband to his wife of 54 years, "Bobbie Sue."
J. C. has 3 loving sisters and one devoted brother (and their spouses). He was preceded in death by 2 sisters.
This man was blessed to have had 6 living children; one deceased son; 15 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Family will greet friends from 3 to 5:00 pm on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home in Beavercreek. A memorial service will take place at 5:00 pm with Pastor Randy Grimes officiating; full military honors will be rendered.
The family asks that you HONOR Hospice of Dayton with donations in lieu of flowers. A special THANKS to Hospice for the loving care, kindness and compassion "J. C." received.

A Celebration of Life will take place immediately following the service at the funeral home at VFW Post 657, 637 Spinning Road, Dayton, Ohio 45431.
