Isaiah James Caster, lovingly known as "Skip", was born on September 13, 1958 to the late Isaiah Buster Caster and Fannie Mae Lewis Caster in Clairton, Pennsylvania. He was laid to eternal rest on December 10, 2024 at Village at the Green Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dayton, Ohio.
He confessed in Christ at an early age. Isaiah received his early education in the Clairton City Schools system. He graduated from Clairton High School on June 2, 1976 and entered the United States Air Force on August 3, 1976. He remained on active duty until May 31, 1997, retiring as Master Sargent in Information Management receiving multiple awards for his stellar performance and leadership skills.
Skip leaves to cherish his memory one niece, Tifannie (Mallory) Struggs; great nephew, Mallory Struggs II; special friend, Belinda Barrero; goddaughter, Danielle Barrero and a host of other cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Ermateen Lewis Murry.
Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2024 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3940 Kettering Blvd. Service will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with burial to follow at Dayton National Cemetery, 4400 W. Third St.
