Ira T. Travis III, age 50, of Dayton, passed away on January 28, 2024. He is a veteran of the United States Army.
He was an avid gamer, and Call of Duty was his favorite. He was also a die-hard Cleveland Browns fan. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by step-father, Bruce Metzler and his son, Nicholas Conn.
Ira is survived by his partner Angela Jackson; his parents, Sharon Metzler and Ira T. (Debbie) Travis Jr.; his sisters, Shirley (Butch) Haywood and Sarah Metzler; his brothers, Robert (Sheri) Metzler and Paul (Tiffany) Haywood; his daughters, Alysa Travis and Kayla Conn; his son, Matthew Jackson; grandchildren: Arabelle and Keylynn; nieces and nephews: Holly (Ryan), Savannah (Travis), Brandon (Amy), Jason, Austin and Kylie; and many family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will start at 5:00pm on Saturday February 24, 2024 at the American Legion Post 619, 1510 Webster Street, Dayton, OH 45404.
