Ingrid A. Tartaglia, age 73 of Dayton, Ohio passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 27, 2025. She was born November 16, 1951 in Columbus, Georgia daughter of the late Colman C. and Laura Faye (Price) Matthews.
Ingrid was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was a faithful and loyal member to the Fairview Methodist Church for many years. Where she also worked at the Food Pantry at the Church helping serve families. She graduated with a Bachelors Degree at Miami Jacob of Dayton, Ohio where she then went on to work at Good Samaritan Hospital as a stna/cna. Later volunteering at Miami Valley Hospital. Ingrid had a passion for helping and caring for those in need. She loved her beloved dog, Titus that brought her a lot of joy. She enjoyed playing games on her phone, going to the park, having family gatherings, events and birthdays. Ingrid's pride and joy was her family and she will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her.
In addition to her parents, Ingrid was preceded in death by her sister, Lisa Mathews.
She is survived by her children, Vincient (Renee) Buckner and Deidre Buckner; grandchildren, Keisha Buckner, Ebony Furlow, Terence Furlow Jr., Jasmine Furlow, Aaliyah Furlow, Tyrese Furlow, Amos Buckner, and Otis Buckner; 17 great grandchildren; brother, Ronald Mathews; sister, Annette Soloman; several nieces and nephews; as well as numerous other family members and friends.
Private burial services will be held at the convenience of the family.
