GALLIVAN, Ingeborg E., age 76 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on April 3, 2016. She was born in Otterfing, Germany and came to the U.S. at age 11 and was adopted by Erwine and William Cook. She was an avid gardener and loved to cook and spend time with her family. She was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Ingeborg was preceded in death by her husband, John Gallivan; parents, Erwine and William Cook; son-in-law, Charles Manning; sister, Helga Daiminger; and brother-in-law, Heinz Daiminger.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters, Susan Manning, Debra (Michael) Graham, Cherrie (Ron) Dement, and Christie (Todd) Kissel; grandchildren, Alyssa, Makayla, Zachary, Kyle, Abi, Taylor, Logan; best friend, Grace Clemans; and many other loving relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 1pm - 2pm at Newcomer Funeral Home Kettering (3940 Kettering Boulevard) with a service to follow at 2pm.
