Imogene Adkins
February 20, 1940 — April 23, 2024
Imogene Adkins, age 84, of Clay Twp., went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 23, 2024.
Imogene was born in Kentucky on February 20, 1940 to the late Roger & Gracie Burchett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Rodney Adkins.
Imogene is survived by her loving husband of 66 years, Willard Adkins; sons, Ray Adkins and Ken (Vickie) Adkins; daughter-in-law, Carol Adkins; grandchildren, Ray, Adam, Cassidy and Candace; great-grandchildren, Paisley, Emma, Kya and Scarlett; brothers, Dean Burchett and Roger Burchett Jr. and many other relatives and friends.
Imogene was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. After raising her children, she and her husband spent many years as truck drivers traveling all over the country. Imogene will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Services will be held at a later date at Northridge Free Will Baptist Church, 4800 Payne Ave, Dayton, OH 45414.
Imogene will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery.
