Ima Jean Hart

Ima Jean Hart, age 92 of Xenia, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025 at Legacy Village. She was born May 24, 1933 in Mount Sterling, Kentucky the daughter of the late Chester Harvey and Ada Snyder.

Ima Jean's greatest joy in life was raising her family and spending time with them. She was a wonderful wife, mother and mamaw who will be dearly missed.

In addition to her parents, Ima Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Hart; daughter, Vicki Lynne Tobe; grandson, Eric Tobe; and son-in-law, Steven Johnson.

Ima Jean is survived by her children, Bev Johnson, Sharon Henry, Bob (Jeannie) Hart, Dan (Janet) Hart, and Tom (Ann) Hart; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September, 17, 2025 from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm with a service to follow at 1:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432). Ima Jean will be laid to rest at Valley View Memorial Gardens following the service.
