Ida Radford, born on September 9, 1952, in Hazard, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, in Springfield, Ohio. Throughout her life, Ida was widely known for her unique personality that charmed all who knew her. Her strong-minded nature was coupled with a stubborn streak that endeared her to many, and those fortunate enough to cross paths with her could not help but love her unwavering spirit.

Ida found joy in the simple pleasures of life. A lover of storytelling, she would often be found talking on the phone, sharing tales from the past, or rocking the babies on her porch. Evenings spent watching "Wheel of Fortune" became treasured rituals, moments of laughter and happiness shared with family.

Her proudest accomplishments were rooted deeply in her family. Ida cherished her role as a mother and grandmother and took immense pride in her daughters, Michelle Radford and Jennifer (Jeff) Radford. As a grandmother, she was loved by many, including Kiera, Anthony, Linsey, Destiny, Logan, Sierra, Jacob (Mercedes), Kaleb and Kristen, with whom she shared countless memorable moments. Additionally, she leaves behind a legacy enriched with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, all of whom were touched by her caring nature.

Ida's family bond extended beyond her immediate circle, as she is survived by five siblings: James Radford, Howard (Karen) Radford, Patricia Radford, Clarence (Diane) Radford, and Charles (Sue) Radford, demonstrating the strong familial ties that were a cornerstone of her life.

She joins her beloved parents, Henry and Geneva Radford, along with four siblings: Phillip (Jean) Radford, Arizona Radford, William Radford, and Alger Bart, and sister-in-law, Martha Radford, in eternal rest. The love Ida poured into her family, her community, and her friends will be profoundly missed but will continue to resonate in the lives she touched.

Ida Radford's legacy is one of love, strength, and service—a true testament to a life well-lived and a heart deeply devoted to those around her.
