Hung Huu Nguyen

Hung Huu Nguyen, born on April 23, 1954, in Saigon, Vietnam, departed this life peacefully on November 17, 2025, in Kettering, Ohio. He lived a life rich in love, resilience, and family values, leaving behind a legacy that will be cherished by those who knew him.

Hung is survived by his beloved wife, Lien Nguyen, with whom he shared a deep and enduring partnership for 39 years. Together, they built a warm and loving home, exemplifying the beauty of companionship and devotion. He was a proud father to his daughter, Mai (Duong) Nguyen, who brought him immense joy and pride. His role as a grandfather brought him immeasurable happiness, as he delighted in the company of his grandchildren, Ellie and Leo, who were the light of his life.

Hung is preceded in death by his parents, Du and Dam Nguyen, whose influence and guidance shaped the man he became. Their memory lives on through the values he instilled in his own family.

The family invites friends and loved ones to commemorate Hung's life and legacy during the visitation and funeral services to be held at Newcomer Funeral Home, Beavercreek, located at 3380 Dayton Xenia Rd, Beavercreek, OH 45432. The funeral service will take place on November 24, 2025 at 4:00 PM until 5:30 pm. Visiting hours will be held after the service from 5:30 pm until 8:00 pm. 

Hung Huu Nguyen will be profoundly missed, but his spirit will forever remain alive in the hearts of his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
