Howard L. Lynn

Howard Lee Lynn, age 73 of Dayton, Ohio passed away April 20, 2026. He was born November 5, 1972 in Lumpkin, Georgia to the late Walter Lynn, Sr. and Lucille Lynn.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Young Horace Lynn, Lucy Weaver Wilbekin, Ruby North, Tom Lynn, and Walter Lynn Jr. Left to cherish his memory are his children, LaKeisha Lynn, Tia (Shawn) Fore, grandchildren Danell Collier, Chanell Collier, and Parker Fore, great grandchildren Danell Collier, Jr., Amari Collier and Kaydence Burns.

Howard is also survived by his siblings Willie Mae Lynn Freeman, Leola Lynn, and John E. Lynn (Carol), maternal aunt Mattie Rogers, special cousin Richard Young, close friend Rev. Paul “Butch” Palmer and a host of other relatives and friends.

Howard was baptized at a young age at Corinthian Baptist Church, Dayton, Ohio. He was a graduate of Roosevelt High School class of 1970. He was employed by the U. S. Postal Service, Frigidaire in Moraine, and served in the U. S. Army.

Howard was a sharp dresser with immaculate style and attention to his clothing and his hair. He was considered a gifted artist and calligrapher. Howard loved holidays, cooking, music, his daughters, his mother and all his family.

The Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Newcomer Dayton North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, 45424.

The family will greet friends and relatives prior to the service from 9:30–10:30 AM.

Burial will follow at West Memory Gardens, Moraine, Ohio.
