Hezikyah Jacuree Massengale

Hezikyah Jacuree Massengale, age 4, passed away August 10, 2017. He was born February 5, 2013 in Dayton, Ohio.

Hezee is survived by his loving mother, Tanesha Massengale; father, TeShawn Washington; siblings: Teon, Darion, Aniya, Tae'Von and TeShawna; grandmother, Mawmaw (Carolyn); aunts: Aeisha, Victoria, Katherine and Tashawna; uncle, Antuane; nieces: Honesty and Justice; godmothers: Melinda and Davika; godsisters: Dashawna and Ronasia; special cousins: Taliya, A'Kia, Tyree and Ja'Mair; special friends and caregivers: Miss Emma, Charnese, Indea and Shemeka; and a host of other family and friends.

Hezee loved rocking himself to sleep, loved playing with his feet and loved listening to music. He enjoyed soft, gentle touches and being sung to.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am - until time of the service. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Dayton Children's Hospital and the Stillwater Center, especially Dr. Romero and Dr. Mahbe for their loving care.
