Hermann Hochreiter

Hochreiter, Hermann, age 82, passed away on April 18, 2011 at Hospice of Dayton due to complications of pneumonia. He was born May 21, 1928 in his beloved Bavaria, Germany. He was the 7th of 10 children. In 1953 he immigrated to the United States to start a new life with his future wife. Hermann was a loyal and dedicated Tool & Die Sinker for over 40 years prior to his retirement. Hermann is survived by his wife of 55 years: Eva; daughter: Mona; he was the beloved Opilein of Mandi, Chase, Matt, Zach and Victoria. He is also survived by his special friend and sister-in-law: Susi and numerous other family members and friends both in Germany and Dayton. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Newcomer Funeral Home (South Chapel) 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering. Interment will follow the service at David's Cemetery in Kettering. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 P.M. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in memory of Hermann.
