Henry Glenn Strong, 83, of Huber Heights, passed away on February 28, 2015 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born on March 30, 1931 to the late Harold and Virginia (Fickle) Strong.
He served his country in the U.S. Army and was a member of V.F.W. Post 3283. Glenn retired from Ohio Bell after 36 years of service where he worked as a cable splicer.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Georgine; brother, George Strong and sister, Dora Dell. Glenn is survived by his sons, Mike (Kim) Strong and Mark (Linda) Strong; grandchildren, Regina, Ryan and Ross; great grandchildren, Jaylynn, Kendra, Jayden and Aria; sister, Beatrice (Bob) Senseman; several nieces, nephews and many good friends.
Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, 45424. Visitation will also be held from 12-1 PM Wednesday at the funeral home where services will begin at 1PM Wednesday, with Pastor Randy Chestnut, officiating. Burial will take place in Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
