Helen L. Beekman-Smith, age 83 of Kettering, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at The Hospice of Dayton. Helen was born on November 3, 1932 in Wellston, Ohio to the late Raymond and Edythe Watson.
She was preceded in death by her husbands: William Beekman and Howard Smith; and children: Paul and Lisa Marie.
Helen is survived by her children: Carol Beekman and Terry Beekman; grandchildren: William Beekman, Michael Mollett, Douglas Beekman and Justin Beekman; great-grandchildren: Jordan, Lilly, Jade Lynn and William; brother, Robert Reeves; sisters: Jeane Powers, Dorothy Reeves and Patty Wolfingbarger; many cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Thursday, February 25, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road, where the funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm. Burial to follow at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, Helen's children would like to ask for donations to help with her final expenses. They would like to send a special thank you to the staff at The Hospice of Dayton for their loving care.
