Helen J Rose passed away on December 28, 2020. Preceding her in death were her parents Raymond Dale Rose and Annie Bartholonaus Rose. She is survived by her sister Sandra A Rose and a cousin Shirley Folger.
Helen was born on January 20, 1940, to Raymond Dale Rose and Annie Bartholonaus Rose. Annie gave birth to Helen at home in Dayton Ohio. Helen graduated from Belmont High School and attended University of Dayton for a couple of years before starting work at Dayton Power and Light. She left DP&L to work at Dayton Data Processing and then to the job she loved at Elder Beerman as a sales associate in Jewelry and Accessories for 25 years.
She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church on Wilmington Av, Dayton OH. Her favorite Bible passages were the 23rd Psalm and the Lord's Prayer. Her favorite hymn was Onward Christian Soldiers.
She was also a member of the Eastern Star, Belmont Chapter 555. In 1973 she was Worthy Matron and her father was Worthy Patron at the same time. This was the first time, father and daughter held these positions for this chapter.
