Helen Rosalie Apple
Age 92 of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Thanksgiving Day, November 28th, 2013.
Born in Piqua, Ohio, she was the Daughter of Raymond & Adah Manson. Rosalie attended Piqua High School and was a proud graudate of The National School of Cosmeticians, in Cincinnati, Ohio on January 20th, 1940. She enjoyed her career as a Beautician, at several Centerville salons. She had a very loyal following of clients who also became her very dear friends. Rosalie retired after 40 years of service.
Rosalie married "Herm" (Herman P.) Apple on Christmas Eve 1940. They enjoyed 43 years of marriage. After Rosalie and Herman retired they took off in their Midas motor home to winter in Florida and Texas. They met so many new friends in their travels and Rosalie kept in touch with all of them throughtout the years. Rosalie and Herm took up painting and Rosalie was a student of the "Arts" for many, many years.
Rosalie is survived by her loving sons Ronald L. (Lana) grandchildren Lee, (great grandsons Will and Hunter) Chad & Ryan and by Douglas A (Sheliah) grandchildren Megan (Alex) Grunewald, Michelle (Bryan) Hinds, Gwyn (Mike) Rotramel, Colleen, & Bethie. Great grandchildren Bryan, Patrick & Isabella Hinds and Elle & Mikey Rotramel.
Rosalie is also survived by her sister, Mary Lou Dean of Augusta, Georgia and brother Ray Manson of Celina, Ohio and many more nieces & nephews.
She is preceeded in death by her parents, infant brother, husband Herman, sister Betty Miller, brothers-in-law Jack Miller, Jack Dean & John Jimmy Apple & sisters-in-law Miriam Loy, Wilma Manson & Betty Apple and grandson Dougie Apple.
Rosalie was a faithful member of Fair Lea and more recently Harmony Creek Church. She was such a fun, sweet and goodhearted person. Rosalie enjoyed life and those in her life enjoyed her. You Whooo!

Private services will be held at David's Cemetery (Community Mausoleum) on Friday, December 6th at 11:00AM with private visitation at 10AM.
Father Christopher Armstrong will officiate.
