Hattie Mae Crawl

Hattie Mae Crawl, age 88, of Trotwood, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 3, 2025. Hattie was born on January 13, 1937 in Whipple, West Virginia, to the late Redrick and Sallie Dozier. Hattie was a homemaker, dedicated wife and mother to her two daughters.

Hattie was passionate about her hobby of bowling. She bowled in many leagues; in at least 2-3 or more leagues a week for many years.

Hattie Mae Crawl leaves to cherish her memory: 2 daughters Sonja (Anthony) Wills of Springboro, OH, and Michelle Orr of Trotwood; grandchildren Brittani Wills, Courtney Wills, Shane Orr, Victoria Orr, and Sydney Wills; two great-grandchildren Alanna Orr and Augustus Orr. Host of nieces,  nephews , other relatives, and dear friends. Hattie will be missed dearly by all her family and friends.

Hattie was preceded in death by her husband Edwin P Crawl; parents Redrick and Sallie Dozier; sisters Evelyn Dozier, Joann Love, Alfreda Leonard, and Shirley Walker; brothers Chester, June, Vincent, Homer, Charles and Johnny Dozier.

The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at Miami Valley Hospital that gave exceptional care to Hattie during her final days.

The family will receive friends and family on July 22, 2025 from 10am - 11am at Newcomers North Dayton Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd., Dayton, OH 45424. The service will follow at 11am. Hattie will be laid to rest at Dayton National Cemetery at 1pm with her late husband Edwin P Crawl.
