Harvey D. Goforth, Jr. "Ringo", age 69 of New Paris, OH, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2018. He was born on March 26, 1948 in Willmore, KY to the late Harvey D. Goforth, Sr. and Elizabeth (Goodlett) Turpin. In addition to his parents, Ringo was preceded in death by son, David Patrick Goforth; step-father, Wayne Turpin; brother, Delmas Turpin; sister, Diane Goforth; 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson, Krystian.
He is survived by his children, Eric (Susan Roberts) Goforth, Kevin Goforth, Aliesha Goforth, Sabrina Goforth, Amanda (Michael Wessler) Morgan and Stephanie Morgan; 19 grandchildren; 1 great-granddaughter; brothers, Gary (Joyce) Goforth, Jack Turpin and Delbert Turpin; sister, Patricia Collins and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Ringo enjoyed attending Riverside Grace Chapel. He was an avid collector of guns and guitars. Ringo always had a good time riding his motorcycle. He was a true friend and loved hanging out with his buddies but most of all, Ringo's biggest passion was spending time with all his grandkids.
Family will receive friends from 2-3 PM on Friday, January 12, 2017 at Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd. where a funeral service will begin at 3 PM.
