Harry Lee Thompson Jr.

Harry Lee Thompson, age 73 of Dayton, passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Miami Valley Hospital. He was born February 7, 1943 in Baltimore, Maryland the son of the late Harry and Margaret Thompson. He is preceded in death by his sister, Retha M Thompson.

Harry is survived by his two Friends, Vincent Davis & Scotty Jones (Alamo, TN); cousin, Richard Nooft & Stewart Montgomery (Tarpon Springs, FL); lifelong dearest friend & roommate, Robert Titus (Dayton, OH). He is also survived by two sisters, Linda Thompson-Sortino (Freeport, FL) and Gwen Tennant (Belair, MD).

Harry was a passionate and lifelong member of The Dayton Gay Men's Chorus. As a founding member, he loved the arts and his contribution to Dayton.

A celebration of Harry's life will be held on February 14, 2016 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Newcomer Funeral Home - South Chapel, 3940 Kettering Blvd., Kettering). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Harry to The Dayton's Gay Men's Chorus.
