It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife and mother, Harriett Tucker, of Springboro, Ohio. Born July 12, 1931 in Biwabik, MN to Harry and Ruth Saxhaug, she died May 25,2026 at the age of 94.

After graduating high school her adventurous spirit led to a job with Eastern Airlines as a stewardess. She was based in Miami, Florida and there she met her future husband, Roy Tucker, who was stationed at Homestead Air Force base. They were married for 68 years. Harriett is survived by her husband Roy, daughters Susan Smith (Bob) and Amy Tucker (Tara); grandchildren Brad and Emily Groleski, Tucker Smith (Molly), Sarah Conkle (Zach) and Ben Smith; great grandchildren Hazel and Emerson Conkle; sister in law Jonell Reece and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her daughter Elizabeth Tucker and her brother Vernon Saxhaug and sister in law Marlys Saxhaug.

Harriett was a loving wife and an amazing mother. Her family brought her much joy and happiness. She started collecting early American antiques and for many years ran her own successful antique shop. She loved supporting her children's activities and sports teams and was a Springboro Superfan. Harriett was also a member of the Springboro Historical Society and a member of Living Water Lutheran Church.

Please join us for a memorial service on July 8, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Living Water Lutheran Church in Centerville, Ohio. A brief gathering will follow at the church.
