Harriet Louise Rogers

Harriet Louise "Happy" Rogers, age 78 from Gardiner, Maine, passed away on Wednesday, November 4, 2020.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Dorothy Tisdale and two sisters, Janice and Arlene.

Harriet is survived by her beloved husband of 61 years, Richard Rogers; six daughters, Karen (Rodney) Malchow, Carlene Taylor, Carla Glenn, Shari (Thumper) May, Valerie (Kyle) Webb and Alison (Jan) Saunders; son, Greg Rogers; sister, Dorothy Reed, brother, Sonny Tisdale; twenty-six grandchildren; and thirty-seven great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many loving extended family members and friends.

She was devoted to her relationship with the Lord. Harriet was a kind and nurturing wife and mother that loved her family unconditionally. She enjoyed many things throughout her life such as, gardening, reading, Christian music, sewing clothing for her family, providing meals for her family and had a natural ability in all sports. She especially enjoyed bargain shopping and gift giving. Her family will always remember her homemade apple pies. Harriet never met a stranger and will always be remembered for her sweet and loving disposition.
