Harold Miller

Harold Miller, age 83, of Beavercreek, Ohio, passed away on March 15, 2026. He was born on May 11, 1942, in Dayton, Ohio.

Harold was a lifelong insurance professional who dedicated his career to helping others protect what mattered most. He earned his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation and proudly owned and operated his own insurance agency. In addition to his work in insurance, Harold also ran a home maintenance company in the 1990s, where he combined his strong work ethic with his love of working with his hands.

Harold was known for his ability to fix just about anything. He especially enjoyed laying ceramic tile and taking on home repair projects, always finding satisfaction in a job well done. Outside of work, he appreciated the simple pleasures in life, including a good beer or bourbon, and time spent with those he loved.

He will be remembered as a loving, generous, and funny man who brought warmth and laughter to those around him.

Harold was preceded in death by his wife, Astrida Miller. He is survived by his children, Kathy Kahn (Joel Kahn), Debby Simmons (Mike Simmons), and Becky Sparks-Rosenbaum (Jason Rosenbuam); and his grandchildren, Taylor Lopez, Gabriel Kahn, Reagan Miller, Madison Orner, Abigail Dubilier, Riley Simmons, and Luke Rodriguez.

He will be deeply missed by his family and all who knew him.

A celebration of Harold’s life will be held at a later date. The family will share service details once arrangements are finalized. Arrangements entrusted to Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road.
