Harold E. Freeland, age 90 of Wilmington, passed away on June 12, 2016 at his home. He was born on December 23, 1925 in Wilmington, Ohio, to the late Oscar and Irene (Hill) Freeland.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Freeland.
Harold is survived by his son, Keith Freeland (Frances Lopez); two grandchildren, Klaus (Charlie) Freeland, Adrian Freeland; and 3 great- grandchildren.
Harold served his country in the United States Army during World War II where he received a purple heart.
