Harold D. Cook

Harold D. Cook, age 79 of Dayton, passed away May 25, 2018. He was born on December 17, 1938 to the late Elmer and Maxie (Gant) Cook. In addition to his parents, Harold was preceded in death by his brothers, Denver and Kendell Cook.

He is survived by his loving wife, Lena Cook; sons, Jeffrey (Tammee), Josh, Brandon and Dean; grandchildren, Courtney, Kaitlin, Danielle, Laykin, Sara, Christine, Tony, Trenton, Zach and Chelsea; great-grandchildren, Tommy, Lucy, Aidia, Addie, Kayden, Baylee, Greg, Makena, Alley, Steven and Jordan; 7 siblings and also his dear brother and best friend, Wayne (Linda) Cook; four legged best friends, Buddy and Tabby; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Harold was a devoted and loving, husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend. He often enjoyed fishing and building cars. Harold worked and retired from General Motors after 42 years of service.

Family will receive friends from 11 AM until 12 PM on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Eaton Baptist Temple, 416 E. Decantur St., Eaton, OH 45320 where a funeral service will begin at 12 Noon. Interment will follow the service at Sugar Grove Cemetery, West Alexandria, OH.
