In loving memory of Harold Keith Call of Kettering, Ohio who passed away unexpectedly at his home at the age of 77 years on Sept. 14, 2025.
Keith was born on April 25th, 1948, no time to get to the hospital he was so eager to get started in life he was born at home in Xenia, Ohio to Harold Lamar Call and Helen Louise Huffman Call White. He grew up in Peebles, Ohio at his grandparents house and graduated from Peebles High School then moved back to Xenia to live with his mother and stepfather. Keith soon enlisted into the Army and served honorably with two tours in Vietnam. His last tour he hit a landmine and was injured and several of his friends were killed, he received a purple heart for his injuries.
After the military he settled back in Xenia and began working for G.M. where he spent the next 30 plus years employed until retiring before they shut down. During this time he met the love of his life Patty Lou Moneypenny, they always said it was love at first sight. They were married on Nov. 10, 1973 and spent almost their entire life together as one. Everything they did was together. They loved life and especially enjoyed the fall season where almost every year they would go to Gatlinburg and bask in the fall foliage. Keith was devoted to the Lord Jesus, and after losing his beloved wife Patty in Feb. 2022 only grew stronger knowing he would soon be reunited with her. His joyous reunion brings us comfort in our time of sorrow.
Keith was also very active for years in the training and also teaching of the Korean martial art of Taekwondo where he earned his black belt.
Besides his wife and parents who preceded him in death, he was also preceded by his mother and father-in-law Rillis Sr. and Evelyn Moneypenny. Sister-in-law Anita Moneypenny, Brother-in- law Rillis Jr. Moneypenny. Sister-in-law Kathy Call and half brother Dwight Call.
