Harley "Bob" Vogel

Harley "Bob" Vogel, age 80, of Fairborn, OH passed away on April 19, 2026. He was born on October 5, 1945 in Dayton, OH to parents, Edith and Harley Vogel.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Sue (Henderson) Vogel and two sons, Greg (Lynne) Vogel and Jeff (Kristina) Vogel. He is Papaw to four grandkids- Cole (Taylor) Vogel, Jacob (Courtney) Secrest, Hayley (Brandon) Seaman and Casey Vogel. He is also Papaw to 6 great grandkids- Tanner, Trenton, Weston, Bowie, Ila, and Beau.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Larry (Diane) Vogel.

He was a graduate of Beavercreek High School and still enjoyed getting together with his former classmates when he could. He loved golf and enjoyed times playing with his sons and golfing buddies. He will be saving a tee time in heaven for them! He also loved motorcycling and recently traveled out west with his friends.

He was a great friend and neighbor to so many. He was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Moose Lodge in Beavercreek.

Visitation will be held from 4:00pm-5:00pm on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd, Beavercreek), where funeral services will begin at 5:00pm.

Family and friends are welcome to join us to Celebrate Bob at Walnut Grove Country Club at 6:00pm.

There will be a private family urn interment at a later date.
