Gwendolyn "Gwen" Tschirhart, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on July 10, 2025, in Moraine, Ohio. Born on January 5, 1948, in Ashland, Kentucky, Gwen touched the lives of many with her warmth, creativity, and dedication to her family.
Gwen's educational journey began at Wilbur Wright High School, followed by Sinclair Community College. She approached her life with the same passion she applied to her interests, which included spending quality time traveling with her family and friends. She was a talented artist, known particularly for her stained glass creations and beautifully woven baskets. Her artistic skills extended into her love for scrapbooking and caring for her beloved house plants, which brought life and color to her surroundings.
Gwen was married to her beloved husband, James "Jim" Tschirhart, for over 40 years. Together, they nurtured a loving family that included five children: Melisa Wolfe, Ronald (Jodi) Decker II., Donna Lynn Molton, David (Ann) Tschirhart Sr., and Brian (Lynsay) Tschirhart. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jacquelyn (Joshua), Andrea, Zachary, Ronald III., Nikki, David Jr., Zakkary, William, and Harrison as well as her great-grandchildren, Juliana, Jillian, Zoe, Jackson. She is also survived by her brother, Earl Jr., and sister, Jayme, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will carry her memory forward.
Gwen was preceded in death by her parents, Earl Sr. and Donna Brooks, and her sister, Jean. Her enduring spirit and love for family will forever be cherished in the hearts of those who knew her.
