Gregory Parker, PhD, (Major retired USAF), age 53, of Beavercreek, OH passed away on Monday, May 27, 2019. He was born April 22, 1966 in Pascagoula, Mississippi to Hershel and Carolyn (Saucier) Parker. Greg married Davilyn Reeder on May 26, 1990 in Hickory Flat, Mississippi.
Greg proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring as a Major in 2010. He continued to work for the Air Force as a Senior Aerospace Engineer for AFRL at Wright Patterson AFB. Greg loved to scuba dive and was a certified scuba dive instructor. His love of diving led him to exotic locations around the world to include the Philippines and the Cayman Islands. Greg loved his family dearly and will greatly missed by all.
Gregory is survived by his wife of 29 years, Davilyn; a daughter, Madeline Parker; a son, Kellen Parker; his parents, Hershel and Carolyn; a sister, Julie (Todd) Williamson; and other family and friends.
No services will be conducted per Greg's wishes.
The family requests donations in Greg's name be made to Hospice of Dayton, 324 Wilmington Avenue, Dayton, OH 45420.
