Grady C Mccurry

Grady C. McCurry, 14, passed away Thursday, March 30, 2017. Grady was born on July 13, 2002 in Kettering, OH to Christopher McCurry and Christy McDougle, and was the son of Christy and David McDougle.

Grady was sweet, fun and kind hearted with a wicked sense of humor. He loved his phone, Fire Hot Cheetos, loved to sing and told the corniest jokes. He debated every topic and tested everything just to get a rise out of his parents, always with a smile on his face. Grady loved movies, tormented the family cat and overall was an amazing kid. He loved his family, especially his sisters and his brother and looked forward to them coming to the house. Grady loved his "step-mom", Heather. Grady dearly loved his family and will be greatly missed by all.

Grady is survived by his parents; four sisters, Brittany Lewis-Reed, Tyrie (Brandon) Alcorn, Teaira Rice and Morgan McCurry; a brother Jack McCurry; a niece, Ava; three nephews, Greyhson, Bentley and Landon; paternal grandparents, John and Joyce McCurry; Sally "Get em Sally" McDougle. Grady is also survived by the McDougle family: who have come to love Grady and will greatly miss him. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother Suzette Owens; paternal grandmother, Jackie McCurry.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Newcomer Funeral Home - Beavercreek Chapel at 7pm. Family will greet friends and loved ones for two hours prior; 5-7pm
