Grace Wanda Hughes

Grace Wanda Hughes, 91, of Miamisburg, OH, passed away on February 3, 2019 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
She was born on January 17, 1928 to the late Ludwig and Grace (Stull) Held in Freeport, PA.
Grace spent most of her early years in Ecorse, MI.
On March 22, 1947, she married Donald E. Hughes. He was a minister for 45 years and they pastored several churches in the Midwest.
She attended Parkview Church of the Nazarene for 5 years.
Grace is survived by her loving son, Drake E. (Carol) Hughes; granddaughter, Tricia (Steve) Whitaker, whose children are Amanda, Stephen and Caleb, and granddaughter Christy Hughes whose children are Spencer and Ally Persinger; and great great grandson, Daniel Persinger; brother, Roger Held; and beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Donald E. Hughes; daughter, Deborah Deitsch; sister, Margaret Thompson; and brother, Richard Held.
