MILLS, Gordon "Gordy" age 69 passed away January 19, 2012.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Vernere and Harriet Mills; son, Corey S. Mills; and step-son, Brian T. Dyer.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Elizabeth "Darlene" Mills; son, Gregory A. (Karen) Mills; daughter, Joy (John) Tolbert; step-sons, Paul T. Dyer and Jason T. Dyer; grandchildren, Corey, Matthew, Megan, Kyle, Austin, Taylor, Jason, Cassie, Kara, Branden, and Kamryn.
Gordy retired from the United Sates Air Force and worked at the Royal Z Bowling Alley formally Cross Roads Lanes in Vandalia. Best known for his "Gordy's Gutter Ball Club".
The family will receive friends Monday, January 23, 2012 from 1:00 pm until the time of service at 2:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home – North, 4104 Needmore Rd. Interment to follow at Forrest Hills Memory Gardens.
