Gordon Carl Jones

Gordon Carl Jones, age 56 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2018. Gordon was born on June 28, 1961 in Adrian, Michigan to proud parents, Gordon W. and Betty L. Gordon answered the call to service and enlisted in the United States Army. He faithfully and honorably served for 3 years. In his free time, Gordon enjoyed fishing and spending time outside. Gordon was a caring, kind, and compassionate man. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who knew him.

Gordon was preceded in death by his father, Gordon W. Jones and his brother, Raymond Swartout.

Gordon leaves to cherish his memory, loving wife, Anita Carey-Jones; son, Zach Carey; mother, Betty Bell; sister, Dawn Jones O'Day; brothers, Larry Swartout, Steven Jones, and Doug Jones; loving canine companion, Gizmo; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
