Glen E. Hoops

Glen E. Hoops Jr., age 82, of Dayton, passed away Friday, April 8, 2016. He was born September 11, 1933 in Dayton, Ohio.
He served our county in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He was preceded in death by his father, Glen Hoops; mother, Ethel Jones; wife, Alma Hoops; sister, Sue Jones and son-in-law, Gregory Crafton.
Glen is survived by his children, Mike Hoops, Mark Hoops, Glen Hoops, Kim Crafton and close friend, Tenia O'Neal. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren family and friends.
A memorial gathering will be held from 1:00 pm until the memorial service at 3:00 pm on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Newcomer Funeral Home Beavercreek Chapel, 3380 Dayton-Xenia Rd., Beavercreek, Ohio 45432.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Dayton.
