Gladys Miller, age 92, of Washington Township, passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2016.
Gladys was born on January 2, 1924 in Cookville, TN. to the late Guy & Clara Bohannon.
She married James Miller in Dayton, OH.
Gladys was preceded in death by her sons, Tony and Glen Miller and daughters, Joyce Annette Miller and Peggy Tucker.
She is survived by her daughters, Sheila (Max) Miller and Nancy Manuel; sons, Roger (Susan) Miller, Eddie (Linda) Miller and Jimmy (Peggy) Miller; 3 brothers; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Gladys was a little hard working lady, but so strong in character, raising her 8 children alone and holding them together until they were grown. She loved flowers, gardening and was always active outside.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 22, 2016 from 10-11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11 am, with Rev. Jillian Seib officiating. Burial will take place at David's Cemetery.
