Gladys Ward Alexander, 96, of Miamisburg, passed away on September 7, 2018 at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties.
She was born on January 28, 1922 to Huram and Amanda (Amburgey) Cox in Letcher County, KY.
Gladys worked as an Over-hauler for Cheney Pulp & Paper Company for 37 years in Franklin, OH.
In 1973, she married Charles Arthur Alexander. Gladys and Charles lived in Middletown, OH.
She attended Poasttown First Church of God.
Gladys is survived by her loving Daughter, Marty Prichard (Fred); Grandchildren, Scott Pate (April), Tina Johnson (Steve), Jolene "Jodi" Decker (Ron), Daniel Ward, Jr. (Kim), and Fred "Max" Prichard; Great Grandchildren, Brittany Pate, Ty Shyers, John Pate, Belinda Pate, Joshua (Hannah) Johnson, Caitlyn Johnson, Aaron Johnson, Amanda (Jeff) Collins, Nick Dishman, Jacob Decker, Ronnie Decker, and Carter Prichard; Great Great Grandchildren, Lauren Collins, Jaycen Collins, and one on the way; and a multitude of people that love her.
In addition to her Parents, she was preceded in death by her Loving Husband, Charles Arthur Alexander; Sons, Daniel Ward (Lorene) and James E. Ward; Ex-Husband, Roger Ward; Granddaughter, Katrina Prichard; and Great Grandson, Steven Dishman.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Newcomer South Chapel in Kettering, OH.
Funeral services will follow at 2:30 pm.
Interment immediately after at Woodhill Cemetery in Franklin.
