Gerald “Jerry” Clifford Jauch
1938-2025
It is with profound sadness that the family of Jerry Jauch announces his peaceful passing on August 23, 2025, at the age of 87, surrounded by his loving family. Jerry was born on January 24, 1938, in Cincinnati, OH.
Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Cheryl Jauch; his son, Chris Jauch (Amy); his grandchildren, Haley and Andrew (Jorryn); and his siblings, Janet Moxley and Jack Jauch; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Eunice and Clifford Jauch, and daughter Stacie Jauch.
Jerry also played an active role helping to raise Zander Zimmerman, a young boy that he and Cheryl watched from shortly after birth for the past 11 years.
Growing up in Brooklyn, OH, Jerry was a proud graduate of Brooklyn High School, where he excelled in sports. After high school he attended The Ohio State University. He was a proud veteran, having served in the Army’s Military Police Corps, and went on to have a fulfilling career as a business executive and Real Estate Agent. Jerry spent most of his adult life living in Cincinnati, OH, Lawrenceville, GA and Miamisburg, OH.
Beyond his professional achievements, Jerry was a man of great warmth and character. He cherished his family above all else, serving as a loving husband, a supportive father, a doting grandfather and avid fisherman. His passion for fishing and his sense of humor will be dearly missed.
There will be a private family service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Blood Cancer United (formerly known as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) in honor of Stacie.
