Gerald "Garry" William Boeckman Jr., 54, of West Alexandria, passed away on April 28, 2017. He was born on November 21, 1962 to Gerald and Mary Ann (DeMange) Boeckman in Dayton, OH.
Gerald was a 1982 graduate of Chaminade-Julienne High School and retired from GM after 12 years of service. He also served 4 years active duty in the U.S. Navy.
Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Barbara; mother, Mary Ann; children, Sarah, Christina, and Gerald III; sister, Rita (David) Miller; nephew, John, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald William Boeckman Sr.
A gathering will be held on May 12, 2017 from 10:00 - 11:00am at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 149 Franklin St, Dayton, OH 45402 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am with burial following at Dayton National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
