Georgene B. Pizzo

Georgene B. Pizzo, 93, passed away peacefully on January 9, 2024. Loving mother of Nick Pizzo, Gina (Ronald) Hendrix, Michael Pizzo and Mark Pizzo, cherished grandmother of Karri (Robert) Richards, Kandice (Timothy) Zielstorf, Kyle (Misty) Hendrix, Kirtis Hendrix, Ashley, Anthony Jr. Pizzo, Justine, Renee, Amber, Kimberly, Nicholas, Matthew and Alex, adored great grandmother of Austin, Kaden, Kendall, Kayla, Kylcee, Karson, Kyle Jr., Kenzie, Khloe, Kolston and Carson, beloved sister of Jane Mangen. She is also survived by her two nieces Denise Sergent and Christine Wills.

Georgene was preceded in death by her husband Vincent Pizzo, parents James and Winifred Branch and her son Anthony Pizzo.

She was a member of the Red Hatters. Georgene enjoyed playing cards at the senior center. Her favorite time was spent with her family, especially her grand and great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Public visitation will be held at Newcomer Funeral Home (3380 Dayton Xenia Rd) on Monday January 15, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day, January 16, 2024, at St. Brigid Catholic Church (312 Fairground Rd, Xenia, OH 45385) at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest at Calvary Cemetery next to her husband Vincent. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Georgene's memory to Hospice of Dayton.
