George E. Mescher Sr.

George E. Mescher Sr., age 75, of Kettering, passed away on Saturday, December 24, 2016.
George was born on September 20, 1941 in Dayton, OH to the late Clarence G. & Ruth T. Mescher.
George was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, R. Carolyn Mescher (Gibbs) and son, Gregory Eric Mescher.
He is survived by his son, George E. Mescher Jr.; siblings, Barbara Perillo, Judith (Ken Smith), Marilyn Mescher, and Joseph Mescher; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
George owned and operated Partner's Bar in Dayton for over 35 years.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2016 from 10-11 am at Newcomer Funeral Home South Chapel (3940 Kettering Blvd, Kettering, OH 45439). The service will follow at 11am. Burial will take place at Miami Valley Memory Gardens.
Donations may be made in George's memory to the American Diabetes Association (2451 Crystal Drive, Suite 900 Arlington, VA 22202).
