George Ronald Holcomb

George Ronald Holcomb, age 87, of Huber Heights, passed away September 22, 2026. He was born January 30, 1939 in Dayton, Ohio to the late George Porter and Lois Holcomb. In addition to his parents, George was preceded in death by his wife, Diane S. Holcomb; and several brothers.

George is survived by his son, Eric Holcomb; grandson, Chayce Holcomb; brother, Rick Holcomb; and many other family members and friends.

George was the Director at the Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center and retired from there after many years of service. He enjoyed going to Bob Evans and was an avid baseball fan.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:30-1:30 pm on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Newcomer Funeral Home, North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Road, Dayton, where the funeral service will begin at 1:30 pm. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Dayton.
