George Nathaniel Friesel, known affectionately as Nathan, was born on March 31, 1993, in Dayton, Ohio. He graduated from Valley View High School in 2011, where his enthusiasm shone through both on the soccer field and track. Nathan's pursuit of knowledge led him to Miami University in Oxford, where he earned undergraduate degrees in Chemistry, Biochemistry, and Zoology.
Beginning his professional journey as a Manufacturing Chemist, Nathan later rose to the role of Production Group Leader. He was admired for his keen intellect and work ethic. Nathan was not only accomplished in his career but was also a vibrant individual who left an indelible mark on the lives of those around him. He was beloved by many, known for his kindness, caring nature, and generous spirit.
Nathan was a true friend to many, often serving as the social planner behind numerous gatherings and events. His creativity was evident from a young age; at just 13 years old, he organized and ran the "Friesel Haunted Trail" in his parents' backyard, igniting joy and excitement in everyone involved. Known as the fun uncle, he held a special place in the hearts of the children in his family, always bringing laughter and fun to their lives.
Outside of his professional and familial commitments, Nathan had a passion for exploring the world. He traveled extensively, visiting countries such as Vietnam, Thailand, Hungary, Greece, and Turkey. His love for nature was expressed through hiking in various National Parks out west, and he found joy in cooking, gardening, and playing cards with his beloved grandmother, Ella Kottman. He was also an avid FC Cincinnati fan, and enjoyed the vibe of the City of Cincinnati.
Nathan's connections with family were strong and cherished. He is survived by his loving parents, George and Pam Friesel; his brother, Greg (Addie) Friesel; his maternal grandmother, Ella Kottman; his uncles, Mark Kottman and Bruce (Teri) Kottman; his aunt, Cheri (John) Huston; and numerous cousins, extended relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
