George E. Wood, Jr.
WOOD, Georg E., Jr., age 54, of Dayton, passed away Saturday July 9, 2011. He was born June 16, 1957 in Dayton.
Georg is survived by his precious daughter, Abby of Cincinnati; his parents, George and Anna Wood; his sister, Kathy of Delaware, OH; brothers, Tom, David, and Louie Wood all of Dayton.
He served in the US Army in Germany. Georg recently retired from the City of Dayton as a construction inspector after 30 years of dedicated service.
Georg was a active member of AFSCME. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying wilderness, backpacking and mountain climbing.
