George Lewis Collier, born, November 18, 1933, passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents: Verna (Arnold) Delaney and Jack Collier; father-in-law,Cecil Dorton; and brother, Kenneth Collier.
George is survived by his wife of 38 years, Bernice Collier; sister, Roberta "Susie" (James) Brown; and mother-in-law, Ernestine Dorton. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. George loved fishing and antiquing; he manned a table at the flea market for years. He was a contractor, retiring in 2008.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at The Salvation Army, 1000 N. Keowee Street, Dayton, OH 45404, with Majors Roger and Cecilia Senn officiating.
